How to etch platinum with Multi-Etch
Although Multi-Etch will not etch platinum, it can be used to remove all steel ions prior to welding or soldering. Rather than using the standard protocols involving a 15-minute dip in nitric acid, a 15-second dip in Multi-Etch is just as effective. | ||
